Anticipation

It's Friday and I think we're all breathing a collective sigh of relief.  Having just blown up a forgotten boiling egg for the second day in a row I'm looking forward to free time to clean the kitchen.  Isn't that special?  Argh.

With all the rain and dreary weather we had last weekend in SoCal it was nice to wake up to bright sunny skies this morning.  I can't wait to get out and take it all in!  Here are just some of the things I'm contemplating this weekend:

The Ardisia Maxi at Anthropologie
I have looked at it almost every day since receiving the catalogue earlier this week.
I think it's a sign, and perhaps the perfect way to kick off the weekend.
I think this handbag could balance it out quite nicely
and keep the styling of the dress true to me.
The fringe/turquoise combo is really something else.
You can tell I'm on a pretty serious boho kick because this thing
is locked front and center on my desktop.  I keep glancing at my blank wall
wondering if I should just get it and hang it up there already.
I mean really - why did these have to be sold out??
It got me going on an internet shopping extravaganza.
I've started clicking and I can't get up.
You know it's bad when I start contemplating cat attire.
One of my friends sent this cat shark coat over earlier in the week.
She found it in this Etsy shop...now usually I'm not one to
dress my cats up, but since I spotted it I can't help but
eyeball them for size whenever they walk by. Woops!

Here's hoping you find me back on Monday with pink shoes in hand and cats wearing only their own fur.  Have a great weekend everyone!

I'm sorry I have no idea what the rest of the post was about because that hairless cat creature freaked me out too much. I am so scared of those things.

I love the blanket as a piece of art. How do you blow up an egg? I didn't know it was possible. But, I'm a terrible cook, and have almost set my house a blaze a few times.

When I saw the dress, I thought that it was SO YOU! Then I read what you said about the styling with the bag being so true to you and I couldn't agree more! I think you should go for it if you can. You'd look smokin'! Oh and that shark coat is pretty funny. I wonder how long I could get my cat to wear it? Probably for a minute, tops :)

Have a great weekend!

I am always so tempted to try and put clothes on the cat. I know I would suffer for it but I think it would be worth it if I could make him look like a shark.

Exploding eggs? Bugger that for a joke. Eggs smell like farts at the best of times, let alone having to clean up farty exploded egg. Ew.

Have a great weekend!

PS. Your 'no yanky my wanky' comment on my blog seriously made me shout with laughter. Probably the best line in the movie.

Oh my god, that cat attire is AMAZING. You can only buy that sucker if you agree to put the kitties on a leash and take them for a walk, wearing your amazing leather vest. Because the photos of strangers in the background would be PRICELESS.

Homie---I fondled that exact same dress in the Anthro in Chicago this weekend. It was pretty damned glorious.

But you know me... I need the throw. Excellent picks, you just lulled me into a boho fantasy I plan on supplementing with wine and some pets to my leather rhino.
