Give 'Em The Boot

I don't know about you, but Monday seemed to go by, on the one hand, at a snail's pace and on the other hand at the speed of sound.  Due to far too many exhausting issues I found myself off in la-la land dreaming about a pile of boots I can't afford, but would sure like to if the money fairies would ever show up to drop off the dollars. *Girls you know we're in the middle of an over-the-knee boot fashion swarm - but I included some others as well.*

A girl can dream.

Fall 2010 Boots

It's a good thing I can multi-task because as the sun dropped somehow I woke up back in line at Cold Stone just as the guy was asking what I wanted (miracle).  If you're near one of their locations - hey if you can just drive to one of their locations - I highly recommend the Key To My Heart key lime summer concoction they've dreamed up. It saved me from kicking my tv out the window tonight when I wasted 20 whole minutes of my life that I can never retrieve just to find out that Ali picked Roberto (bachelorette colossal waste of air time, my time, your time, anytime).  What-ever.  It was not the most shocking finale yet.  Yawwwwwn.  But I am glad Chris escaped her evil grip with his dignity intact.  Miracles happen every day.

You hear that money fairies?  Money fairies....??

Top Row (L-R):  Nine West-OnTheMoon, House of Harlow-Samia, Loeffler Randall-Riley Over-the-Knee, Elizabeth and James-Wrapped Wedge Over-the-Knee

So are over-the-knee boots still going to be 'in' this year? I like those three on the top row.

Oh I'm always looking at boots. Even now with it 100 degrees outside. Even with all my bad reality TV addictions I can't watch the Bachelor/Bachelorette - just hearing about it annoys me, who knows what would happen if I actually watched.

Hey CB - yes - over-the-knee boots are all the rage. not sure how i'll personally withstand that given my height restrictions, but they are gorgeous boots.

And Katie...I've watched a grand total of maybe 45 minutes this time around and otherwise hadn't watched since...well actually I don't even know. Trista? Oh no, that jackass that picked one then dumped her for the alternate...anyhow. i've lost valuable brain cells over this. not happy. should have stuck with you on this one. ugh.

I love... those... boots! I LIVED in OTK boots last winter; don't know how I would have survived the cold without them! Now I don't even want to THINK about any other kind of boot (except ankle boots, ahem). Also, I was slightly confused at the end of the post but have now realised it was about The Bachelor! /feels stupid

Love the tall motorcycle boots. I like either square toe or pointy toe. The only rounded toe boots I like are Justin Ropers, of which, I own 4 pairs. Can you picture that? :)

I found myself in Nordstrom yesterday with the Michael Kors Suede tall boot on.... I had to ask the attendant to please make sure "under no circumstances" am I to leave with a pair of boots. He was as unimpressed as I was about not taking them home!

Those Riley over the knee boots are calling my name! I can seriously hear them now. I'd wear them with everything (including the J Crew shorts that we've both been wearing everywhere). I loved your comment yesterday. How fun would it be to run into each other wearing the same outfit! Thanks again for posting those shorts, they've changed my life. Haha. They really are fabulous though- so comfy.

I couldn't stay awake for the Bachelorette and I saw this morning who won. I'll probably fast forward the entire 2 hours and watch the last five minutes. Good to know I didn't miss much.

LOL i watched this season because I liked Chris. I think he's a cutie. If he's the Bacholor I'll totally watch that season, too. Usually not a big fan of the show though.

Love the boots, especially the first two pairs =)

Oh, my favorite is the last boot on the first row but they are all so stylish! I haven't tried this new Coldstone mix, I'll have to do that ASAP.

I know.. she picked Roberto, not surprising.

Thank you for your comment on my blog!

Mid summer ... I wore boots to a concert on the weekend with skinny jeans tucked in.

Loving pair 2 and pair 8 :)

I watched the entire thing ... drank almost a bottle of wine to get through it.

Great boots, especially the Loeffler Randall ones! Wish it was below 100 degrees here and I could wear boots!

ivy's closet said...

They look cool...but still I wouldn't want to be sweating in them right now, and I dunno if they'd do me any good when it gets really bad with snow and ice here. Yeah, we get all the bad weather here.

Jess said...

Hahah - you're just like me. Dreaming about clothes when you should be working ;)

I love them all, girl! Especially the Elizabeth and James pair.

Bren said...

OK..dying for those E & J's!!! I must have them for Fall! and yes, I watched that train wreck of a show Bachelorette! It's so stu-pid! I didn't even care who won (wait is that winning?), and I watched anyway. I don't know why I watched and have zero excuse. :)

I love boots, but I find them so difficult to wear. Feel a bit tarty wearing them to my conservative banking job and just can't be bothered on the weekends. Plus I always find something ELSE I'd rather spend my money on. Sigh.

But I did fall hard for my YSL's, they're so easy to wear, and SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO comfy!

Last night's after the final rose was soooooooo boring!! It was SUCH a waste of time. The Bachelor Pad better deliver or I am done with this franchise.

Love these boots! I really want a pair of riding boots for the fall. I was at Marshalls the other day and they had amazing boots from coach cheap!! Of course they only had a size 11 left.

Boots are my downfall...Fall boots...ah, they are glorious. Over the knee boots sound delicious (question: if I am 5'3" would they still look ok?), but any boots these days sound delicious. I was eyeing up a pair of Frye Boots, they are so EXPENSIVE, it's tantalizing. I love me a good pair of leather boots...mmm!

Now this Cold Stone concoction you speak of...it sounds interesting! I love Key Lime pie things, and I have a gift card to Cold stone...I'm thinking I'm gonna have to go.It's a must. I will let you know how it goes!!
