When we first started blogging a couple of years ago, Chris included food posts on a pretty regular basis. One of the recipes people love and still revisit to this day is the bacon wrapped dates. These things are so good. They are on the menu at The Corner and definitely a customer favorite.
When OC Weekly asked for a recipe for their blog, Chris wanted it to be something simple people could make at home so he went with the dates. Even though we've done them here before, I wanted to include their link and the original link in case you wanted step by step photos to go along with the recipe. Ironically we first posted about them on July 13, 2010 and Stick a Fork In It included them on July 12, 2012. The more things change, the more they stay the same? This time in a good way! Hope you enjoy :)

I love dates - must add this to my recipe list, too. Warmly hope you are well;-)
Dude, for serious, feed me!
Yum. Yum yum yum.
These are my absolute FAVORITE. Hats off to the chef ;) And his smoking hot GF.
This looks and sounds freaking delicious! I love your blog, I've been a long time reader. I used to be Southern Girl Style but now I'm itsthefreebutterfly.blogspot.com. Have a good one! :)
I have always loved bacon wrapped dates too... and I love dates simply on their own as a snack. Does that make me sound as though I am one hundred years old? lol
Happy Weekend, Carrie :)

Remember what I told you about dark chocolate, that also applies to bacon. Dirty sock, clean sock...doesn't matter. We'll be trying these before the summer's out!
XOXO!
ohmyGOSH, if I show this to Mr. A, he will die. In a good way. I hope. I mean, it is bacon, after all.

I'm a vegetarian but these sound pretty good - I guess I'll have to take your word for it :)
my all time favorite as well!! yummo
Aaron and I have been to The Corner and we love it! We crave the bacon wrapped dates, and the fries, and the grilled peach salad...
They are maybe the perfect food. Salty, sweet, falty. Oh my, now I'm starving.
