Confession: I don't even have the tree decorated. Yep, big slippin's (not to be confused with big pimpin') going on over here. Tonight I finally turned on the outside lights and am on pins, needles and maniacal laughs waiting for the neighbors to get home and have a look. Think Griswold. If you look out your door and see a glow to the west, THAT'S ME.
In the spirit of the season
Blame it on Olivia Palermo or, better yet, Princess Kate. She's allegedly pregnant so no one'll get on her for influencing you to get some London Sole and spill your wallet all over in their stores (or online). As someone who never really viewed themselves as a flats person, I'M WEARING FLATS.
And as for the cats, well, that's pretty much self-explanatory. Meow.

I should have shopped more for myself. Got all the Christmas shopping done and now Christmas starts on Saturday, goes for 4 or 5 days straight (I can't keep up) and it's looking like I'll be leaving the house in sweats. I might consider that a success. Merry Christmas to all, I'd like a nap please.

I clicked on the link to the London Sole website (not being a flats person either, I trust your judgment) and my eyes went fuzzy when I saw that these flats--what appear to be plain ballet flats--are $200 and up? What is the secret to their awesomeness??

I (mostly) have the lights on the tree and that is it! christmas is when now? every year i feel like i have less and less time and more things to do.
but a little gift for yourself is always a good idea. how can you spend over a month shopping and not end up with a few things for your own closet?

There is nothing like a great pair of flats–or a gift to yourself. I bought a pair of toile flannel pjs that I love (and have already packed in my suitcase)!
