What Goes Around Comes Around

Last week I got serious about getting rid of some stuff and started a pretty significant purge.  It's not entirely over, but is definitely underway.  As I was sorting through clothes I came across a few pieces saved from my early days at Gap in the 90's.  Man those were the days: leather pants, tencel-blend skirts and dresses, and the best basic jeans and t's. I wish I would have saved a few more things because I had quite the arsenal back in the day. Employee discount anyone?

This red tank dress has travelled with me from Canada for the past 15 years. It was one of my all-time favorites from a summer collection Gap did not long before I left, and I've never been able to part with it.  Sunday was super warm and we were heading to the flea market, so I took a chance and slipped the dress on over a little tank top. Holy mother of pearl this baby still fits! God bless the inventors of the Whole 30. And the hoarder in me.
~Dress: Old school Gap, Vest: M2F, Booties: Joie,
Jewelry: Vanessa Mooney, Bag: Brandy & Melville~
Rifling through the fake LV's to get to the vintage crossbody bags.
Eye of the Tiger after spotting the coolest vintage table for my kitchen or herb garden.
Woot! Will post some pics after I get it situated.
In the meantime, sweet dress right??
And why didn't I buy more than one pair of these boots last year?

I need to start another closet clean out. And at the same time, I should get better about holding on to things that I will still love in the future because I end up getting rid of WAY too much. Ugh.

Some things are just too good to get rid of. Perfect dress for strolling the markets. Love your bag by the way. xo

I love that dress! Gotta love when stuff still fits after a long time :)

I can't wait to see the new table!!

I always think I need to do a closet clean out but I really don't...my whole closet is always out, I never put anything away for the seasons, if I had too much I'd have to do that ;)

There is nothing wrong with a classic dress! I have a crazy amount of stuff at my parent's place aka shrine to my random stuff!

I swear i used to have that dress or something eerily similar! I hold onto stuff like that too - like this old striped tee nothing wrong with it, nothing special just a great little piece!

Except, um, the vest is M2F. It's the dress that's from Gap! HAHA! Pregnancy brain, mama!

haha - u do love those boots! - but it makes them more special b/c u do only have 1 pair in the 1 color! - i sometimes have buyers remorse when i don't have "more" of something or i didn't snatch it up in time - but sometimes 'it's meant to be that way'

It definitely is a sweet dress, the kind I'd live in all summer. Can't wait to see this table!
